March 7, 2008 11:55 AM - For those who didn't see it coming, the ESP Psychic Expo returns this weekend to the International Centre in Malton.
The 29th annual ESP Psychic Expo features demonstrations and lectures on psychic powers, ESP, astrology, palmistry and auras. Visitors get a free psychic reading with the price of admission.
"It's great because people have access to many readers that they only see once or twice a year," said event promoter Valentine Safranko.
The modern psychic fair features practitioners of the paranormal arts with some 65 readers of tarot cards, palms, tea leaves, numerologists and astrologers who'll peer into the unknown.
The expo runs Friday through Sunday with lectures and demonstrations scheduled throughout each day, including a paranormalist who'll try to read people's minds and control their actions.
Admission costs $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and free for children under 12 who are accompanied by an adult.
