A 19-year-old man is dead this morning after police responded to a call for service at 6235 Kennedy Rd. at 2 a.m.
After arriving on the scene, officers found a man suffering from obvious signs of trauma. The victim was taken to hospital but died a short time later. Peel Regional Police have set up a mobile command post at the scene and are canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses. The victim's name is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
