Man killed in Malton

Peel Regional Police homicide detectives are investigating after a man was killed in Malton earlier this evening.
Around 7:15 p.m. police were called to a Shallford Rd. rooming house following an altercation between two men. During the fight, one man suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
He later died from his injuries.
According to police spokesperson Const. Samantha Nulle, homicide detectives are actively investigating and speaking to witnesses who were in the home during the fight.
Nulle said police were releasing no details on the victim until next-of-kin are notified.

The investigation continues.
