The public are invited to attend Police Day in Peel this weekend, hosted by none other than Peel Regional Police.
The annual event will be held this year on Saturday at the Emil V. Kolb Centre for Police Excellence, at 180 Derry Rd. E.
"This event is held to showcase the work that the men and women of our organization do to keep our region safe," said Peel Cst. Samantha Nulle. "It is also part of our commitment to building strong, safe communities by forging solid relationships with our citizens."
The Police Day event is open to the public and offers a number of activities and events for children of all ages. There will be displays from various police units, including Tactical & Rescue, K-9, Marine Unit, Crime Prevention, Internet Safety, Traffic Services and many more. Children can also be fingerprinted and have fun in the PlayStation 2 Centre and Safety Village mini-Jeeps.
