Hundreds of parents and children turned out to visit Peel Regional Police on Police Day over the weekend.
The annual event was held on May 10 at the Emil V. Kolb Centre for Police Excellence, at 180 Derry Rd. E.
It was open to the public and offered a number of activities and events for children of all ages, including displays from various police units such as Tactical & Rescue, K-9, Marine Unit, Crime Prevention, Internet Safety and Traffic Services. Children were also fingerprinted and several enjoyed the PlayStation 2 Centre and Safety Village mini-Jeeps.
