Competing in the 13-under boys' division, CKATT won all of its games, culminating in a victory over CIA-Bounce (Canada elite team).
CKATT reached the final by defeating Albany City Rocks by 15 points in the semi-finals.
In preliminary-round play, CKATT defeated New York Rim Rockers, Ontario Canada Stars and Albany Titans.
Teams from 12 states tipped off along with 30 teams from Canada.
CKATT coach Ronald Baello said his team won, “by showing the real meaning of team work, discipline, determination and dedication.
“This CKATT team has something special,” he added. “Their friendship gives them strength, their brotherhood makes them tougher and their love to this game keeps them together.”
Members of the championship team include Roenik Baello, James Cruz, Ernesto Yalung, Ron Rivera, Justin Ramos-Taylor, Cornell Mohamed, Matthew Carating, Christian Hewitt, Adrian Lopez-Williams, Kean Lopez, Rayon Miller and Francis Kiapway.
Baello and co-coach Arnold Carating were assisted by team managers Ed Lopez and Paul Cruz.
The team will compete June 25-29 at the Eastern Canadian Championships in Quebec.
