Mississauga's Leah Frazer has become a pioneer for a Georgia collegiate soccer program.
The Lorne Park Secondary School graduate is the first player ever recruited internationally by the soccer program at Georgia College and State Unversity in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Frazer, one of five players recruited by the school for next season, was a starter with Lorne Park the last two years.
She also competed in basketball, rugby, volleyball and track and field for the Mississauga school and played for the North Mississauga and Erin Mills soccer clubs.
The five recruits will be added to a roster that includes 13 players returning from last year's squad.
Frazer plans to major in business or pre-law at the Georgia school.
