To say the least, it was a disappointing lacrosse season for the Mississauga Junior A Tomahawks.
The Tomahawks concluded a dismal Ontario Lacrosse Association campaign last night in Brampton, falling 11-4 to the Brampton Excelsiors in their final regular season outing.
Andrew Pottruff, Chad McCabe, Spencer Joyce and Paul Ryan each netted one goal apiece for the Tomahawks in a losing cause.
Mississauga finished the season dead-last in Junior A league standings with just two wins and 20 losses.
On a side note, Simon De Sousa led the Tomahawks in scoring this season with 20 goals and 29 assists in 21 games.
