Peel Regional Police responded to 1800 Argentia Rd., just before noon after a 9-1-1 caller reported an industrial accident.
Peel Paramedics rushed the man to Credit Valley Hospital, where he was subsequently transported to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto via air ambulance.
Police said the man fell from the roof of an industrial building that was under construction. He has sustained a collapsed lung, fractured ribs, a broken arm and head injuries. The injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Workers from Herbridge and Cross construction company were working on the roof at the time of the fall.
The area has been cordoned off with yellow police tape as forensic identification officers attend the scene.
The Ministry of Labour has been contacted and will investigate to see if any workplace health and safety rules were violated.
