This month, SEC released three new digital photo frame series that offer the ability to use the frames as a secondary PC monitor, where users can view files, surf the web, listen to MPC files, watch videos and access Instant Messenger.
Two of the frames also allow users to play MP3 music files as background music for slideshows. Another provides users with Wi-Fi capabilities to let them view website photos without the need of a PC; it also allows users to dowload images from their PCs via the Wi-Fi network.
Avid photographers may be most interested in new frames that offer larger screens, eight to 10 inches, and 1G of built-in memory, or 3,000 photos.
"Without a doubt, digital photo frames have become very popular among
Canadian consumers," said Ronald Hulse, vice president sales and marketing, SEC. "With the technology and innovation found in our new line-up of digital photo frames, memories are brought back to life like never before."
The frames are available at Future Shop and Samsung resellers; prices range from $119-239.
