Mississauga’s Steven Chatoff was the leading Canadian bowler after six games over the weekend in Orlando at the under-23 World Youth Tenpin Championships, but it was only good enough for 67th place.
A total of 194 boys representing 55 countries competed in the singles portion of the tournament, which was won by Dominic Barrett of England.
Chatoff finished with a pin count of 1,174.
Other Canadian team members competing at the 80-lane Boardwalk Entertainment centre, which is host to the University of Central Florida bowling team, were Matthew Dammann of Edmonton, Raymond Lussier of Montreal and Jonathan Domingo of Winnipeg.
