Mississauga’s Michelle Lee is one win away from becoming The Golf Association of Ontario’s Junior Girls Match Play champion.
Lee defeated Orangeville’s Alexis Hawerchuk earlier today in semi-final action at Collingwood’s OslerBrook Golf and Country Club in surprisingly easy fashion.
Holding a five-hole lead with only four holes remaining, Lee was determined the winner.
The Caledon Woods Golf Club member reached the semi-finals with a win over  Stratford’s Meaghan Pototschnik on Tuesday.
Lee will now take on Markham’s Vivian Tsui in the final, after Tsui made short work of Orangeville’s Brittany Marchand, winning after only 12 holes on the par-72, 5786-yard course.
Tsui and Lee, along with Marchand, are all familiar with one another. They will comprise the Ontario Juvenile team at the National Junior Championships in August.
