Chinese community rallies behind quake victims

The Mississauga Chinese Business Association is setting up relief fund booths this weekend in support of the victims of Monday's massive earthquake in China.
Tomorrow and Sunday, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., booths will be set up at Golden Square Centre, located at 1177 Central Pkwy. W., and at Yuan Ming Supermarket, at 1000 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W.
All proceeds go to the Canadian Red Cross to support the victims of the magnitude 7.9 earthquake.
Pledge forms, which can be picked up at the booths, can be faxed to the MCBA at 905-625-6225.
Officials say the death toll could soar to more than 50,000.
