The film, which follows a group of penguins living in the frigid wasteland of Antarctica, will be shown on Friday, Sept. 12.
In the 2006 film, the penguins each have a special song they sing to express and define themselves.
However, the misfit Mumble (voiced by Elijah Wood) can't sing. But, he can dance up a storm.
The poor little penguin is blamed for the colony's unexpectedly bad luck at finding food and he's banished. Rather than just giving up and living a life of solitude, Mumble goes on a journey with his best friends to learn more about himself, the world and his fellow penguins.
The film also features the voices of Robin Williams, Brittany Murphy, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.
Local dance troupes will help introduce the film with a series of hip-hop, salsa and jazz routines starting at 7:30 p.m.
Those interested in attending are asked to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Show time next week is 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
