Mississauga resident and hockey personality Don Cherry will be the video host as the Ontario Bingo Development Fund (OBDF) presents Bingo Night in Ontario this weekend.
The event, to be held at bingo centres across the province, including three in Mississauga, is an effort to help promote bingo and the good works that bingo funds do across the province.
Cherry will be hosting via a video feed into each participating hall.
“Come to the Centres, support fantastic charities, and play for incredible cash prizes,” said Cherry.
Prizes provided by the Fund include a $200,000 grand prize, a $20,000 outside square prize and a $1,000 per hall consolation prize. Cards will be sold for $2 a strip with net proceeds going to the bingo pooling account.
The Mississauga bingo halls participating are: International Centre Bingo, 6900 Airport Rd.; Delta Bingo, 1650 Dundas St. E.; and Meadowvale Bingo Hall, 2295 Battleford Rd.
