No order

Dear Editor:
Through inquiries at Queen's Park regarding an Order in Council that would lift the restriction of the Crown Patent on the Britannia Farm, it was discovered no such Order in Council exists.
Without that Order in Council, nothing can proceed as promoted by the Peel District School Board as it relates to (Britannia Farm lands developer) Osmington or any other potential new user or use.
Numerous articles in the press on this matter should reflect this reality. There is no deal unless the Cabinet and Premier sign into law the required changes.
Hopefully, the Premier does not want a pile of office buildings on the Britannia Farm for his legacy as the "Education Premier" of Peel Region and the Province.
The provincial government, through your MPP, needs to know what you think on this matter.
