Garden Council holds workshop

The Mississauga Garden Council wants Mississaugans to get their hands dirty. MGC is hosting a "Get Your Hands Dirty" workshop on Saturday from 9-11 a.m at the MacEwan Field Station at Riverwood Park.
Paul Zammit, an expert on container-making, writer for the Epic Gardener, and repeat guest on The Indoor Gardener and Calling all Gardeners TV shows, will teach participants how to create winter floral arrangements using fresh greens, accent stems, spiral branches and fruit.
People interested in participating are asked to pre-register because space is limited to 15 people.  
The workshop costs $80 for council members; $90 for the public.
Participants are asked to bring their own pruners and gloves.
Light refreshments will be served and free parking is available.
