Sylwester Organka captured the Canadian Muay Thai Association North American Championship in Vancouver on Saturday.
Fighting in the 155-pound weight class, Sylwester defeated Jason St. Louis, from Alliance Martial Arts in Vancouver, by technical knockout at 1:33 of the first round.
“Sylwester trained really hard and it showed in his performance,” said Sylwester’s trainer, Joey de Los Reyes, who also owns of the mixed martial arts facility where he trains.
When asked what was next for his prized fighter, de Los Reyes responded, “More training, more fights and preparing to defend the title next year.”
Held at the KB-One training academy in North Vancouver, the event was sanctioned by the Canadian Muay Thai Association.
Sylwester trains at The Kombat Arts Training Academy in Mississauga.
