Komunik on the move to Mississauga

In an effort to cut costs and become more efficient, Montreal-based Komunik Corporation will close its Markham facility on Sept. 28 and transfer production to its Mississauga and Lasalle facilities.
The transfer of equipment and relocation of employees to Mississauga will result in a loss of 21 full-time jobs.
Komunik’s Mississauga location will now house sales, production, warehousing and distribution within the same Nashua Dr. facility.
According to company management, the decision to close the Markham facility was made to mitigate the effects of a predicted softening of the business form print market.
Komunik is a leading provider of end-to-end solutions for Communication Resource Management. Komunik develops best of class technology, and provides expertise and support for document management, multi-channel relationship marketing and overall print services. Visit the company's website at www.komunik.com.
