Staff at St. Thomas More Elementary School were left frightened and scrambling for help this morning after the mother of one of the students became irate inside the school office.
Peel Regional Police say the 35-year-old woman arrived at the Tomken Rd. school after learning her son and another teen had gotten themselves into some in trouble.
While the two boys were in the office, the woman began yelling at staff in a threatening manner. Police say a staff member phoned 9-1-1 just before 9:30 p.m. to report that she and her co-workers felt threatened.
Officers arrived on scene and were able to calm the woman down and remained on scene speaking with her for several minutes.
Police said no charges will be laid.
